Some concerns have been raised about the perceived exclusion of men artists from various opportunities within the art community. And furthermore, this same concern can be applied to other aspects of everyday life. However, my interest is in the art community as I will outline in this article.
It is essential to recognize that achieving true gender equality does not mean the exclusion of any gender. The goal should be to create an environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and diverse perspectives. While women and the LBGT community have made significant strides in the San Diego art community, it is important to welcome talented men back into the fold to ensure a well-rounded and inclusive artistic ecosystem.
